The real value of a home is good to know

Hi, I'm Dana

I have a strong passion for our community and its members; it's a priority of mine to give back both as a professional and as a volunteer. For almost 10 years, I've been one of Greater Lansing's top agents, applying a decade of real estate experience, lifelong experience in our community, and a heartfelt love of the place that I've been happy to call home.

As a REALTOR, I bring my strong professional background to bear on behalf of each of my clients. I have a degree in Business Administration from Northwood University and professional experience beyond the real estate industry. These experiences, as well as the time spent at home raising my children, broadened my world view and position me to better understand the demands that each of my clients have in their own daily lives. Additionally, I actively participate in continuing education within the real estate industry and beyond through formal and informal channels. My personal commitment to a growth mindset is an important part of what makes me an excellent REALTOR.

Volunteering has always been an important part of my identity. As a freshman in high school, I started volunteering at Sparrow Hospital as a Candy Striper. Delivering flowers to patients was one of the most favorite things I've ever had the opportunity to do. I had the privilege of being able to bring some light into the lives of patients for a short time during my visits. As a Candy Striper and as a volunteer in the gift shop with my mom, I was one of the youngest volunteers to achieve the 10-year pin of honor as a volunteer at Sparrow Hospital. This experience was the beginning of my path as a lifelong philanthropic community member. Since then, I've been a member, volunteer, leader and supporter of Sparrow's Women Working Wonders, Habitat for Humanity, Junior League of Lansing, the Greater Lansing Food Bank, Volunteers of America, Community in Schools Foundation, the University of Michigan Parent and Family Leadership Council and the University of Michigan's Mott Children's Hospital.

With a full household of five children, my husband, Michael, and I are also happy to enjoy time with all of our children. They range in age from middle school to college and participate in nearly every sport imaginable. We enjoy frequent opportunities to celebrate their achievements in academics, sports, music, and various other ventures. Additionally, all seven of us enjoy the opportunity to travel to new and exciting places together, learning more about the world that we're living in and giving perspectives on the gifts that we each have. We strive every day to demonstrate to each of them ways in which they can become positive and supportive members of their communities.
